The whole universe is going to be talking about Jim Parsons — at least on Saturday Night Live.
The Big Bang Theory star will make his SNL hosting debut on the March 1 return of NBC’s late-night sketch comedy series, the network announced Thursday.
Beck will be the episode’s musical guest, marking his seventh appearance. His upcoming album, Morning Phase, hits stores Feb. 25.
When SNL returns in a few weeks, the show will be without longtime “Weekend Update” co-anchor Seth Meyers, who bid farewell Feb. 1 in preparation for his Feb. 24 debut on Late Night. Colin Jost takes over Meyers’ spot at the desk, alongside Cecily Strong.
SNL is produced in association with Broadway Video. Lorne Michaels is creator and executive producer.
