Townies will come to town on May 9, 2014.
On Monday, Universal announced the release date for the upcoming comedy, which stars Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne as a young couple who are forced to live next to a fraternity house after the birth of their newborn baby. Zac Efron also stars, as the leader of the frat.
The film, directed by Nick Stoller (Get Him to the Greek) from a script written by Andrew Cohen and Brendan O’Brien, is being produced by Good Universe and Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures.

Townies will share the May 9 release date with two other comedies: Jon Favreau‘s directorial project Chef and Tyler Perry’s Single Moms Club.
Earlier on Monday, Universal also set a date for the psychological thriller The Loft, which will roll out in theaters on Aug. 29, 2014.
