Two promos for the second season of FX‘s Cold War drama The Americans have debuted online.
In the first one, viewers hear someone entering a room, dialing a phone number and saying, “I didn’t tell them anything,” while the camera pans across the inside of a closet to reveal Philip (Matthew Rhys) and Elizabeth (Keri Russell) hiding amid the clothes.

In the second one, Philip and Elizabeth are at their kitchen table with their children, who get up after dinner ends. The lighting then turns red and the two spies begin playing Russian roulette with a gun in the middle of the table until both reach for it at the same time.
The Americans follows two Russian spies hiding out as a married couple in the U.S. in the 1980s. The second season premieres on FX in February. The show was nominated for two Emmys.
