One of James Gandolfini‘s last films, Enough Said, will be released in select theaters Sept. 20.
Fox Searchlight is distributing the movie, which was written and directed by Nicole Holofcener and will debut at the Toronto Film Festival.

Gandolfini, who died of a heart attack at age 51 in June, stars in the film opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Catherine Keener.
In the movie, Gandolfini plays a divorced dad who falls in love with Louis-Dreyfus’ character, a fellow divorcee.
Things get complicated when she realizes Gandolfini’s character was married to her new friend Marianne, played by Keener.

Gandolfini wasn’t confident he could pull off such a role, Holofcener told The Hollywood Reporter in the wake of the Sopranos star’s shocking death.
“He didn’t believe he could play a romantic lead, even though everyone on the set thought he was sexy and hilarious,” she said. “He was charming and self-effacing and incredibly talented. Not only did he pull off playing a leading man, his performance is subtle and moving and very, very lovely.”
