All My Children‘s Heather Roop has landed the female lead opposite Luke Goss in Triumphant Pictures’ action thriller AWOL 72.
Hellboy 2’s Goss stars as AWOL Marine Conrad Miller, who is in possession of key secret government information and is being chased by Russian mobsters, an LAPD Dectective (RZA) and a highly paid assassin (Bokeem Woodbine) in order to get the military secrets he carries.

Heather will play Laura Wiley, once a small-time operative in Russia who defects to America and falls in love with Conrad in search of the man, and family, she never had.
The film is directed by Christian Sesma from an original screenplay by Cecil Chambers. It’s scheduled to go into production in Los Angeles in first-quarter 2014.
Triumphant will produce and finance, while Xlrartor Media will distribute. International sales are handled by Premiere Entertainment.
In addition to All My Children, on which she plays Jane McIntyre, Roop’s credits include the Anne Heche movie Nothing Left to Fear.
