TORONTO – Celine Dion will ring in 2014 as part of Entertainment Tonight Canada’s live TV special on New Year’s Eve from frigid Niagara Falls.
But the Canadian superstar won’t don a fur parka as she will appear from the heart of the Las Vegas strip via a videotaped performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Dec. 31, 2013.
Dion will sing “Loved Me Back to Life,” from her 25th studio album, Loved Me Back To Life, from Columbia Records.

The Canadian singer is based in Las Vegas, where she has a three-year residency at Caesars Palace.
She joins the ET Canada‘s New Year’s Eve talent lineup that includes X Factor judge Demi Lovato, Sam Roberts Band and Serena Ryder to perform from Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls.
The show will have New Year’s eve competition from Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014 airing on the rival City network from Times Square in New York City.
And top-rated CTV will air a Hollywood movie doubleheader that features Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows followed by The Transformers.
