While Hollywood honored Woody Allen with the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes on Sunday night, his son Ronan Farrow was far less kind on Twitter.
“Missed the Woody Allen tribute — did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall?” tweeted the 26-year-old government insider.

Farrow was referring to the shocking revelations that Allen, 78, allegedly molested his sister Dylan when she was just 7 years old.
The girl made the confession in 1992 that her adopted father had touched her inappropriately, and the accusations led to a court case that was later dropped to spare her from the trauma of testifying.
Ronan’s mother, Mia Farrow, also alluded to her disapproval of the tribute by — after posting numerous positive tweets about the Globes show — she suddenly decided to switch channels to HBO when her former longtime partner was honored.
“Time to grab some ice cream & switch over to #GIRLS,” she abruptly wrote.

This is not the first time that Ronan has expressed his feelings about his family on Twitter.
After Mia in a recent Vanity Fair interview revived an old rumor that he “possibly” could be her ex-husband Frank Sinatra‘s biological child rather than Allen’s, Ronan punctured the speculation with a well-timed tweet — “look, we’re all *possibly* Frank Sinatra’s son” — which was then retweeted more than 10,000 times.

In June 2012, he tweeted, “Happy father’s day — or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law’s day.”
Ronan remains estranged from his famous father, who married another of Mia’s adopted children, Soon-Yi Previn, in 1992.
The Blue Jasmine writer and director did not attend the Globes to receive his award. Instead, Diane Keaton accepted it on his behalf.
