Authorities say they arrested a total of 20 people in a probation sweep in the Ceres and Modesto area last week.

Law enforcement agencies carried out the operation. Ceres Police, Modesto Police, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department deputies and probation officers, ICE and DMV investigators all participated.

In total, 42 people were paid a visit to see if they are in compliance with probation and parole. 20 of those people were arrested for probation violations and new charges, according to a release from Ceres Police.

About five ounces of meth and over 700 marijuana plants were seized during the August 20 operation.

MONTALBO, Wilma 48 years old out of Modesto – possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine for sales

CAMPOZANO, Blanca 26 years old out of Modesto – cultivation of marijuana, child endangerment and violation of probation

MARTINEZ, Salvador 22 years old out of Modesto – cultivation of marijuana, immigration hold

LOPEZ, Robert 25 years old out of Modesto – illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition
