SACRAMENTO —
The Sacramento County Coroner’s office confirmed Tuesday afternoon that the body found along the Sacramento Marina was 28-year-old Broughty Cole.
Around noon, the Sacramento Police Department and the Yolo County Sheriffs Department Marine unit sent a boat out near Miller Park. Search crews were able to locate a body almost immediately.
Cole was first reported missing by his family on March 3. His car was left at the Sacramento Marina and located by investigators Saturday.
The Sacramento Police department wouldn’t comment on the circumstances of the death, but did say they do not believe there was any foul play.
