FX anthology series American Horror Story led the pack Thursday with 17 mentions as the nominations for the 65th annual Primetime Emmys were announced, marking a big year for genre shows as HBO’s Game of Thrones followed with 16. Meanwhile, HBO again topped the networks with a whopping 108 nominations.
