The autopsies for Paul Walker and Roger Rodas — who both perished in a fiery single-car accident in Santa Clarita on Saturday — will be delayed, a rep for the L.A. County coroner’s office told TMZ on Sunday.
“The examination of both cases is on hold for today,” L.A. County’s chief coroner investigator Craig Harvey told The Hollywood Reporter on Monday. “The examinations may have been delayed to facilitate the identification process.”

Walker, a passenger in the red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, had left an event held in Valencia that was hosted by his charity, according to an official statement.
On Saturday, Rodas, owner of the Santa Clarita-based Always Evolving specialty car dealership, was identified as the driver of the vehicle by AM radio station KHTS.
The L.A. County sheriff’s department said that the crash occurred at 3:30 p.m. on the 28300 block of Rye Canyon Loop and that the vehicle was found “engulfed in flames.”
