The Biggest Loser improved on NBC, averaging a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49. The competition rose two-tenths of a point from last Tuesday’s outing, leading into a steady Chicago Fire (1.8 adults). NBC topped the demo for the night, averaging a 1.9 rating with adults 18-49 and 6.8 million viewers.
Fox saw improvement for its entire comedy block. Dads (1.5 adults) improved three-tenths of a point, while Brooklyn Nine-Nine (1.9 adults) jumped a half of a point. New Girl (1.8 adults) was up two-tenths of a point, though this marks the first time the series’ lead-in outperformed it in the key demo. The winter finale of The Mindy Project (1.5 adults) pulled in an extra four-tenths of a point from last week. Fox averaged a 1.7 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers.

CBS had encores of its Wednesday lineup, averaging a 1.5 rating in the key demo and a dominant 10.5 million viewers.
ABC started the night with an encore of Agents of SHIELD, leading into The Goldbergs (1.5 adults) and Trophy Wife (1.0 adults) down a respective two- and one-tenths of a point. Killer Women (0.7 adults) held its lackluster score from last week, giving ABC a 0.9 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers.
Both The Originals (1.0 adults) and Supernatural (1.1 adults) rose a tenth of a point from last week, with Supernatural scoring its most watched episode (2.7 million) since October 2010. The CW averaged a robust 1.1 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.5 million viewers.
