[Warning: Spoilers ahead from Sunday’s season-three finale, “The Star”]
During the season-three finale, Homeland decided the fate of Nicholas Brody — he was killed off.
Fans of the show may have anticipated the move, but after the shocking way it occurred during the episode — a public hanging as Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) tearfully observed from afar — plenty of questions remain about what lies ahead for the Showtime series.
STORY: Does ‘Homeland’ Need Brody?
Actor Shaun Toub, who plays Iranian intelligence official Majid Javadi, was among many who bid farewell to Damian Lewis‘ character Sunday night on Twitter.
@lewis_damian you were incredible as Brody. A pleasure to have worked with you and know you. Much love. #Homeland. @SHO_Homeland

The first three seasons of #Homeland are a structural mirror image of the first three #StarWars films (IV – VI). Discuss.
