Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are effectively separated after a drug problem drove them apart, TMZ reports.
Odom has been addicted to “crack cocaine” for two years, the celebrity website claimed over the weekend. Odom went to rehab, despite resistance, and stayed clean, but after his season with the L.A. Clippers ended, he allegedly relapsed.
On Monday, ESPN columnist Israel Gutierrez reported that Odom was in a Los Angeles-area hotel room, where friends are trying to get him help for what the sports network termed an unspecified drug problem.
Last week, the Kardashian clan reportedly staged an intervention to convince Odom to go back to rehab, but he wasn’t interested.

Wednesday morning, Kardashian threw Odom out of the house, “effectively” declaring a separation, multiple sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ.
But neither the reality TV star nor the athlete has contacted a divorce lawyer, sources tell the celebrity website.
Kardashian kept Odom’s drug addiction a secret from her family for much of their marriage, according to TMZ, only telling sisters Kourtney and Kim about it very recently.
