The successful formula of The Purge is served up again in the teaser for the sequel to the no-rules-for-12-hours horror thriller.
The follow-up teases the scenario of a couple whose vehicle breaks down on a highway just as the sun goes down and violence is unleashed in the city. The clip shows mob violence and nighttime anarchy along with a rendition of “America the Beautiful.”

The film, directed by Purge helmer James DeMonaco, features Carmen Ejogo, Zach Gilford, Michael K. Williams and Kiele Sanchez.
The original title, released on May 31, 2013, went on to earn nearly $90 million in theaters worldwide after surprising box-office observers with a $34 million debut weekend in the U.S.
The Purge: Anarchy is set to hit theaters on June 20, 2014.
