TURLOCK-

More than 3,500 marijuana plants were found at a home during a power theft investigation.

Last week, agents with Stanislaus County Drug Enforcement Agency served a warrant at a home along Glenwood Avenue in Turlock.

They investigated the home after getting information about ongoing utilities theft.

As they searched the home, they found thousands of marijuana plants being grown in two outbuildings.

They also confiscated a handgun and stolen shotgun.

Calvin Agar was arrested and is facing charges for possession of marijuana for sales, power theft, and possession of stolen property.
