DAVIS-

It’s 1,900-square-feet of advanced technology; while no one will live in it immediately, it’s fun to dream.

Tuesday, Honda showed off its ‘smart home’ on the campus of UC Davis, featuring a solar paneled roof that supplies power to the home and electric car in the garage.

The “Honda Smart Home” is the only one in America created by the Japanese company, they have another one in Japan.

Each water system is individually monitored, and the water from the sink and shower is re-used in the home’s yard.
