In the spirit of Halloween, American Idol season 9 alum Todrick Hall has made a brilliant mashup of Disney villains cast in the Broadway play Chicago starring Adam Lambert (see photo below), Glee‘s Amber Riley, Shoshanna Bean and Pia Toscano, among others.
In the extraordinarily funny parody, each villain takes on a character as they rework the lyrics of the iconic show’s sexy confession, “Cell Block Tango” and turn it into a “Spell Block Tango.” The clip is available on Marlon Wayan’s website, WhattheFunny.com.
“I have always had a strange fascination with the Disney villains’ side of the classic fairy tales,” said Hall in the video’s caption. “Now through the music of Chicago you’ll get to hear their stories.”

In the clip, Lambert stars as an outrageously funny narrator, taking on the character of Captian Hook. Glee’s Riley kills it as Ursula the Sea Witch from The Little Mermaid, and Toscano gives Angelina Jolie a run for her money encompassing the essence of the evil Malificent from Sleeping Beauty. Rounding out the cast of characters is Broadway star Bean as Cruella de Vil, Kimberly Cole as the Queen of Hearts, Cassie Scarbo as The Cruel Queen from Snow White, and Hall himself as the diabolical Scar from The Lion King. Dancer Blake McGrath rounds out the cast.
Hall, who is managed by Scooter Braun, also directed a parody of Beauty and the Beast for the same website.
