Many of Hollywood’s biggest film and TV stars will honor their own at Saturday night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The show, which takes place at the Shrine Auditorium’s Exposition Center in Los Angeles, is actually a sit-down dinner where the stars dine while the awards are handed out.

On Wednesday, SAG unveiled the menu, which was conceived by chef Wolfgang Puck. It includes:
MAIN PLATE:
Grilled Filet Mignon with Broccoli Puree, Lemon and Croutons
Miso Glazed Wild Salmon with Spicy Orange Noodles
Melted Kale and Farro Salad with Crispy Kale Chips

SAG also said that Wolfgang Puck Catering’s order included 800 pounds of filet mignon, 30 pounds of wild Alaskan king salmon, 400 pounds of faro, 4,000 pieces of homemade lavosh, 50 pounds of spicy orange noodles and 7,000 pieces of kale chips.

Meanwhile, to decorate the Shrine, SAG said it is using 17,100 square feet of red carpet in the arrivals area, edged by 12,500 lineal feet of hedges; 11,800 square feet of black carpet in the interior Shrine entrance and the showroom; 15,000 square feet of black drape to create a neutral background and block sunlight; and 25,000 linear feet of silver beads (including over a half-million individual beads) to make up the chandeliers and surrounding curtains on the stage.
The dinner tables will be covered with a total of 1,306 linear yards of gunmetal crinkled organza, complemented by 1,200 Netherwood Mushroom napkins; 3,600 Venice Silver champagne, wine and water glasses; 2,400 pieces of Ariel silver flatware and 1,200 white Eve II china dinner plates; and florals including greens and splashes of white flowers.
