TV RATINGS: The Royal Baby’s Arrival Does Not Rock the Boat
Prince Harry has recently been in the news for telling the British press that he is determined to ensure his newborn nephew, George Alexander Louis, the third in line to the British throne, “has fun.” He also said he will charge his brother, Prince William, and the royal baby’s mother, Kate Middleton, a sizeable sum for babysitting duties.
Prince Harry has enjoyed a colorful and eventful relationship with the British and international press, having made headlines for having his own fun in Las Vegas.
But his show, Harry’s Mountain Heroes, reflects the prince’s army background and his patronage of military services’ charities.
A BBCW spokesperson in Asia told The Hollywood Reporter that U.K. factual programming has “proven very popular among Chinese viewers.” BBCW will distribute the show in China.
The 90-minute documentary version is scheduled to air on U.K. commercial network ITV on Aug. 27.
