SOUTH LAKE TAHOE-

A ten-week-old baby girl was dropped off in a front yard in the Lake Tahoe area Tuesday night, and is now being nursed back to health.

The 5.4-pound bear cub was found at the Bear League, and immediately taken to the Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care center.

The LTWC says the cub is eating well and appears to be in good overall health. Veterinarians were able to give her special formula for infant bear cubs.

They do not know anything about her, or why the cub was dropped off.
