ABC and CBS shared a demo victory on Monday night, but with slightly lifted outings of The Bachelor and Castle, ABC scored a narrow victory among total viewers.
Averaging a 2.4 rating among adults 18-49 and 8.79 million viewers, ABC saw both the two-hour Bachelor (2.6 adults) and Castle (2.1 adults) rise by a tenth of a point from their most recent outings.

How I Met Your Mother (3.3 adults) lost a half of a point from last week’s season high 200th episode. The comedy still topped all other broadcast outings for the night among adults 18-49. 2 Broke Girls (3.0 adults) and Mike & Molly (2.6 adults) held steady with last week, while Mom (2.3 adults) lost a tenth of a point. Intelligence (1.5 adults) was also even at 10 p.m., giving CBS a 2.4 demo rating and 8.77 million viewers for the night.
Fox’s Almost Human (1.8 adults) returned down two-tenths of a point from its last original. The Following (1.9 adults), down a tenth of a point from last week’s time slot debut, was at a series low. Fox averaged a 1.8 rating with adults 18-49 and 6.1 million viewers.
Hollywood Game Night (1.5 adults) was even with last week, and special Sports Illustrated Swimsuit: 50 Years of Beautiful averaged a 0.9 rating in the demo. NBC took a 1.1 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers for the night.
Both Hart of Dixie (0.4 adults) and Beauty and the Beast (0.3 adults) matched their most recent showings on The CW, with the network averaging a 0.4 rating with adults 18-49 and 1 million viewers for the night.
