They can’t all be The Walking Dead. Five nights in to the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, NBC’s coverage of the games finally caught up with the rest of the Big Four. Originals on Fox, ABC and CBS all dropped against the sports coverage, with several hitting series lows.
Fast national returns give the Games a 6.4 rating among adults 18-49 and 22 million viewers in primetime. Those numbers are down from the comparable night of Vancouver, each by roughly 10 percent. Still, the coverage locked up an easy nightly win for NBC.

ABC won the race for second place with a nightly average of a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49 and 6.3 million viewers. The Bachelor (2.3 adults) tied a season low, down three-tenths of a point, ahead of a Jimmy Kimmel Live! rebroadcast.
Both Almost Human (1.5 adults) and The Following (1.7 adults) hit series lows on Fox, falling a respective four- and two-tenths of a point from last week’s episodes. Fox averaged a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49 and 5 million viewers.
Intelligence (1.3 adults) was the sole original on CBS, falling two-tenths of a point with encore comedies for a lead-in. CBS nabbed a 1.3 adults rating and 5.99 million viewers.
Even The CW got a chill from the Winter Games. Hart of Dixie (0.3 adults) and Beauty and the Beast (0.3 adults) were each down a tenth of a point to series lows. The CW took a 0.3 rating with adults 18-49 and 900,000 viewers.
