The CW‘s midseason drama The 100 is adding a “fiercely determined” heroine.
General Hospital grad Lindsey Morgan, best known for portraying Sonny Corinthos and Alexis Davis’ daughter Kristina Davis from 2012-13, has landed a recurring role on the futuristic sci-fi drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
Set 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, a spaceship called the Ark housing the lone human survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth to investigate the possibility of recolonizing the planet. The series, from executive producer Jason Rothenberg, is based on Little, Brown’s The Hundred book series by Kass Morgan.

Morgan will play the “smart, skilled and fiercely determined Raven, the youngest mechanical engineer the Ark has seen in 52 years,” according to the official character description. “Upon learning about the 100, she is desperate to be reunited with her friends on the ground.”
The 100 is produced by Bonanza Productions, in association with Alloy Entertainment, Warner Bros. TV and CBS TV Studios. In addition to Rothenberg, Matthew Miller, Bharat Nalluri, Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo are executive producers.
Morgan, repped by Luber Roklin and SDB Partners, was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for her General Hospital arc. Past TV credits include How I Met Your Mother, Happy Endings and Franklin & Bash.
The 100 premieres midseason on The CW.
