In the wake of Usher‘s 5-year-old son nearly drowning, the singer’s ex-wife is seeking to wrestle custody of their kids away from him.
Tameka Raymond filed legal documents on Tuesday in which she blames Usher for the pool accident that landed their child in the hospital, TMZ reported.
The boy, Usher Raymond V, ended up in the ICU after his arm got stuck in a pool drain.

Tameka claims their son was left unsupervised when the accident occurred and that Usher has delegated responsibility for his kids to his aunt, whom Tameka has previously criticized for not properly taking care of their children, according to TMZ.
Tameka is asking for temporary primary custody of the two children, including decision-making power over their education, healthcare, religion and extracurricular activities, noting that Usher often delegates responsibility for them because he’s so frequently out of town.
Tameka initially wanted an emergency hearing later this week, but a date for the court appearance has not yet been set, TMZ reports.
Usher currently has primary custody of the children, and Tameka has limited custodial rights.
