[WARNING: Spoilers from Suits‘ season-three finale]
The Newsroom actress Melanie Papalia is joining season four of Suits.
Papalia will recur in the new season of USA’s legal drama, the network formally announced Friday.
She will play Amy, Mike Ross’ (Patrick J. Adams) new executive secretary at Sidwell, described as bright and quick-witted. She develops a nearly instant rapport with Mike, aiding him in capacities both personal and professional, ensuring that even in tough times he keeps his eye on the ball. She joins previously announced recurring guest stars D.B. Woodside, Brendan Hines and Michael Gross.
Production has already begun on the new episodes in Toronto.
Papalia is repped by Industry Entertainment and Roxanne Kinsman in Vancouver. She was last seen in HBO’s The Newsroom and the horror film The Den, next starring in upcoming Tribeca entry Extraterrestrial.
Suits returns for season four in the summer.
