The Fosters is already gearing up for its sophomore run.
Trophy Wife star Bailee Madison has been cast in a recurring role on the new season of the ABC Family drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
STORY: ABC Family Renews ‘The Fosters’ for Season 2
Co-created by Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige and executive produced by Jennifer Lopez, The Fosters follows a multicultural family led by two moms (Teri Polo and Sherri Saum).
Madison, who wrapped production on season one of ABC comedy Trophy Wife, will play a young woman who is connected to Callie’s (Maia Mitchell) past. A character name has not been disclosed.
Her first appearance will be in the season-two premiere, which airs this summer. Filming for the new episodes begins Feb. 27.
Madison is repped by Coast to Coast Talent and John Carrabino Management. On the small screen, she has also appeared in Once Upon a Time and Wizards of Waverly Place, with film credits including Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, Brothers, Just Go With It and Parental Guidance.
Other notable guest stars on The Fosters have included Teen Beach Movie‘s Garrett Clayton and Rosie O’Donnell.
The Fosters, currently in its freshman season, airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on ABC Family. The first-season finale airs March 24.
