SACRAMENTO —

Just strolling into Sleep Train Arena brought it all back for Vlade Divac.  That, and a look into the future.

“Well, the new arena is going to be unbelievable,” said Divac.  “I saw the pictures.  It’s a unique place.  But there are a lot of memories here.”

Memories that fans in Sacramento won’t let him forget.

“Every time I come here people make sure that they put me in an emotional mode,” said Divac who spent two days in Sacramento as a spokesperson for Unicef.

Divac hopes to bring awareness about how clean water can make a difference on the lives of children in third-world countries who need it.

“I really enjoy it,” Divac said.  “It is very important to keep in touch with the people and make sure you can do things like this.  Use your fame and time to help people around the world.”
