West Palm Beach (WPTV) —
The Palm Beach County school district is discussing a parent dress code at a workshop Wednesday afternoon.
Some teachers say some parents wear saggy pants, pajamas, short shorts, low tank tops and hair rollers on school property.
If approved, the school could request certain attire at school events and during school hours; however enforcing it would be difficult. The rules could also be printed in the school’s handbook.
Some teachers think they way some parents dress is a poor example for children and makes it harder to enforce student dress codes.
The workshop to discuss the issue will be held at 2 p.m.
