STOCKTON-

A would-be robber was arrested after being chased by the victim and a witness.

Sunday night, a woman says she was at an ATM down the street from the Weber Point Events Center in Stockton.

A man came up behind her and demanded money. She refused to hand any over, but when the ATM dispersed the cash she had requested, the man grabbed it out of her hand.

Before he could get away, the man was pushed by a witness and dropped the money.

He then took off running, with the witness and victim chasing him.

Stockton Police were able to catch up, and arrested Billy Cook for robbery.
