LONDON– U.K. talent agency Ken McReddie Associates, which represents actors including Idris Elba, Emily Blunt, Jack Huston and Diane Kruger, is rebranding and re-launching under the fresh moniker The Artists Partnership.
The move, according to the agency, reflects the company’s growth and a strategy for repping clients in the U.K. and internationally.
Other names at the newly refreshed banner include Jeremy Irons, Kim Cattrall, Anna Friel and Harvey Keitel as well as British TV talent including David Suchet, Martin Shaw, Reggie Yates, Philip Glenister, Marc Warren, Sue Johnston and Jenny Agutter.
The Artists Partnership has also set up a literary and development division headed up by Robert Taylor, who has moved from the agency’s talent department to lead the charge.
Its in-house development department is working as a partner and co-producer with clients to develop projects across theater, film and TV.
In addition, the agency is now working for the first time with a growing roster of writers and directors and is currently packaging and exec producing an undisclosed movie project and developing a West End musical with an A-list theater producer to open in 2015.
The Artists Partnership CEO Roger Charteris said making the name change was the obvious next step for the agency.
“Co-developing and co-producing projects with our clients has been an organic progression for us. We are using our expertise and international contacts to help projects get off the ground; however, creating a development department opens more doors for creative collaboration and gives us, both our clients and the agency, a stake in projects,” said Charteris.
The Artists Partnership is co-owned by Charteris and the Marcus Evans Group.
Charteris has represented high-end talent for more than 20 years and worked for Ken McReddie Associates as an agent for eight years before taking over ownership of the agency.
He is also CEO of World Productions.
