Modesto Police arrested 22 people in a two-day property crime sweep last week, the department announced Thursday.

On Oct. 9 and 10, Modesto detectives made parole and probation checks at 17 different locations, police say. During the checks, officers say the detectives made contact with around 60 people.

Twenty-two people were arrested on many different charges, including possession of methamphetamine, possession of stolen property, identity theft and having fraudulent checks.
