SACRAMENTO-
The Fourth of July is still two months away, but a man is facing charges for carrying a lot of illegal fireworks in South Sac.
Sunday morning, a Sacramento Police officer stopped a car along Freeport Boulevard next to Sacramento Executive Airport. Lloyd Gonzales was the man behind the wheel.
Officers found fireworks, and called an explosives team to remove them.
The explosives team found about 400 pounds of illegal fireworks in Gonzales’ car.
