TORONTO – The Voice coach Cee Lo Green is to perform at Yankee Stadium as part of the NHL‘s upcoming outdoor hockey games in New York.
Green will take the stage during the pre-game and first intermission of the New York Rangers versus New York Islanders game on Jan. 29 as part of the 2014 Coors Light NHL stadium series on NBC Sports Network.
The latest entertainment lineup for the NHL’s outdoor game series comes as the pro league looks to blend hockey and Hollywood to raise its profile.

Destiny’s Child’s Michelle Williams will sing the national anthem at the Rangers-Islanders clash before Beatles tribute band Strawberry Fields performs during the game’s second intermission.
The January 26 faceoff between the Rangers and the New Jersey Devils will see the cast of the Broadway hit Jersey Boys perform during the pre-game show, while Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, stars of the New Jersey Shore scene, will appear onstage during the first intermission.

Meanwhile, Broadway star Marin Mazzie will sing the national anthem at the Rangers-Devils outdoor game in Yankee Stadium.
The Coors Lights Stadium Series gets underway this weekend at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, where KISS will perform onstage as the L.A. Kings take on the Anaheim Ducks.
A host of Hollywood stars are expected to attend the first West Coast game in the series, including Will Ferrell, Jon Hamm, Jason Bateman, Matthew Perry, Jerry Bruckheimer, Cuba Gooding Jr., Hilary Duff, Alyssa Milano, Eric Stonestreet, Taylor Lautner, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Smith, Colin Hanks and sports commentator Erin Andrews.
