Resurrection opened in very good shape on ABC. The midseason drama, taking the 9 p.m. hour, averaged a 3.6 rating among adults 18-49 and 13.3 million viewers. That score, a Sunday best for ABC this season, also topped any other broadcast competition for the night, which saw overall adults 18-49 usage drop 14 percent from last week with the start of daylight saving time.

The heavily marketed show also served as a lead-in for the new Revenge time slot. In its move, Revenge (1.9 adults) was improved six-tenths of a point from its last outing. Once Upon a Time (2.3 adults) also returned to the night after a long hiatus, up four-tenths of a point. ABC took a 2.2 rating among adults 18-49 and 7.9 million viewers for the night.
Full ratings for Cosmos, which aired on a total of 10 networks last night, won’t be in until later on Monday morning — but on Fox, fast national returns have the launch averaging a 2.1 rating with adults 18-49 and 5.8 million viewers.
As for Fox’s cartoons, the new time slot for Bob’s Burgers (0.9 adults) fell six-tenths of a point from its last original. The Simpsons (1.2 and 1.6 adults) saw its two new episodes off from the last original’s 1.7 rating. The network averaged a 1.7 in the key demo and 4.1 million viewers.
After 60 Minutes (1.5 adults), The Amazing Race (1.8 adults) climbed three-tenths of a point for a season best. The Good Wife (1.3 adults) returned from its break down by half a point, and The Mentalist (1.6 adults) fell two-tenths. The network posted a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49 and 9.5 million viewers.
Dateline was the sole original on NBC, averaging a 1.1 rating in the demo.
