CNN says the sit-down interview will cover topics including the economy, immigration, jobs, national security and foreign policy.
Tapper joined the CNN family in January 2013 from ABC News, with The Lead debuting two months later in March 2013. At ABC News, he was senior White House correspondent and congressional correspondent.
CNN’s Obama interview comes two days before Fox News Channel’s Bill O’Reilly has his live sit-down with the president during Fox’s Super Bowl pregame coverage on Feb. 2.
