RANCHO CORDOVA-
Crews with Metro Fire responded to a mobile home fire Wednesday morning along Sheri Ridge Way in Rancho Cordova.
Firefighters say as they worked to extinguish the flames, a small dog was found. Despite their best efforts, Metro Fire says firefighters were unable to revive the dog.
There were no other reported injuries, but the mobile home was said to be seriously damaged.
Investigators did not say what caused the fire.
