A trio of cable networks handed out renewals on Friday morning — including CMT to freshman Party Down South.
The docuseries from Jersey Shore creator and 495 Productions president SallyAnn Salsano has received a second season after becoming the highest-rated show in the cable network’s history — topping a 0.8 rating with adults 18-49. Party Down South will return with a 13-episode run on Thursday, June 5.
Elsewhere, WE ordered additional seasons of two originals: veteran Braxton Family Values and freshman SWV Reunited. Braxton Family Values‘ fourth season will include 26 episodes, while SWV Reunited is getting 10 additional episodes.
Hopping on the renewal train is Spike. The cable network, which has seen a broader audience with Bar Rescue in its continued push away from male-centric programming, has ordered a fourth season of the series starring Jon Taffer.
The additional 20 episodes will bow on the network this fall.
