Bones found under the ground of a hotel in Isleton have been identified as Native American archeological remains.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s office released the update Friday.

The bones were found earlier this week by a construction worker digging a sewer line at the Hotel Del Rio.

They were confirmed to be human bones, and an anthropologist discovered they were archeological remains. No foul play is suspected.
