Just because you’re fighting for the future of the free world doesn’t mean that you can’t worry about your co-workers’ love lives. At least, that’s the takeaway I see from the latest preview of Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which shows Chris Evans’ star-spangled Avenger taking on the forces of Georges Batroc.
The new preview expands on scenes previously seen in trailers for next month’s Marvel movie, with Cap and the Widow discussing his lack of social life and the many dating possibilities ahead of him — once he’s finished dealing with the sadly stationary Batroc (we can but hope that there is some leaping in his future) — before leading into a version of the already-released trailer.

Worth noting for fans of the comic book: That’s definitely Frank Grillo’s Brock Rumlow assisting Cap on the mission, which may put his movie incarnation at odds with his more villainous comic book origins (and Scarlett Johansson’s Widow is definitely using the traditional comic book “Widow’s Bite” at 2:24, right?).
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is released April 4.
