COLOGNE, Germany – Nashville rockers Kings of Leon and Swedish duo Icona Pop (“I Love It”) have joined the list of live performers that will take the stage in Amsterdam for the 2013 MTV European Music Awards. Disney Channel star and singer Bridgit Mendler, Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto and British singer Rita Ora have signed up to present awards at this year’s MTV EMAs.

Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Snoop Dogg, The Killers and Katy Perry are among the long list of acts set to perform, while the list of VIP presenters also includes Arrow star Colton Haynes, Dutch actress Carice van Houten (Game of Thrones) and Will Ferrell, who will present in character as mustachioed newsman Ron Burgundy of Anchorman 2.
The Followill brothers’ appearance in Amsterdam will mark the second-ever EMA performance by The Kings of Leon, who kicked off the North American leg of their Mechanical Bull tour at the Life is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas this past weekend and next head to Atlanta on Feb. 5.

Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead the nominations for this year’s EMAs with five nominations each, followed by Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke with four apiece.
The live broadcast of the 2013 MTV EMAs from the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam kicks off at 9 pm local time on Sunday, Nov. 10.
