PBS news anchor Hari Sreenivasan has been named by TV Week as one of 12 journalists to watch in 2014.
Sreenivasan anchors the PBS News Hour Weekend as well as reports for the weekday newscast. He also serves as its director of digital platforms.
Sreenivasan engages on Facebook, Twitter and Google hangouts and is seen as critical in helping the News Hour attract younger viewers.
Sreenivasan has been a member of the South Asian Journalists Association and the Asian American Journalists Association and is one of the few Asian American news anchors in the country.
