Paul Feig’s relationship with Fox is as busy as ever, with the studio picking up a new untitled pitch for the comedy hitmaker’s Feigco Entertainment to produce.
Feig, the creator of Freaks & Geeks who directed Bridesmaids and The Heat, came up with the idea for the pitch, which will be written by Yana Gorskaya and Maia Rossini.
Gorskaya is an award-winning film editor who’s worked on documentaries such as Spellbound and comedies such as The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Rossini is a novelist and short story writer. The two have known each other and been co-conspirators since grade school.

Feig will produce with his producing partner Jessie Henderson.
While juggling several projects in development, Feig next sits behind the camera for Spy (formerly known as Susan Cooper), which will reteam him for the third time with comedienne Melissa McCarthy. The movie is due to shoot this summer.
Gorskaya and Rossini are repped by CAA, Michelle Knudsen and Mason Novick at MXN Entertainment, and attorneys Karl Austen and Michael Auerbach.
