SACRAMENTO-

A worker at Golden Corral on West Sacramento Boulevard in South Sacramento was pistol-whipped and other employees were robbed of cash and cell phones when four or five men sneaked in through a back door after the restaurant had closed Monday night.

Sacramento Police say 11 employees were still at work around 10 p.m. when the suspects got in. One of the workers was able to hit the silent alarm, however, the suspects had fled before police arrived.

Investigators will be using employee statements and security video to piece together descriptions of the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sacramento Police Department.
