BYRON-

Police pulled over a man for expired registration tags and searching his car revealed the man was responsible for a much larger crime.

On May 7th, a San Joaquin County Sheriff saw a black BMW with expired registration tags in the area of Byron Hwy and Mountain House Parkway, about 15 minutes northwest of Tracy.

The driver, Almighty Allah, 37, was driving with a suspended license and he had a no bail warrant for an arrest in Contra Costa County. While searching the vehicle, deputies opened the trunk and located 20 bags of marijuana, all processed and packaged. The total weight was around 20 lbs.
