Raz Simone didn’t release his Cognitive Dissonance: Part One in the sense of Beyoncé’s bombshell album, but it is still shaping up to be a visual album in its own right.

Both clips to “Natural Resources” and “They’ll Speak” bring the LP’s music videos a tally of five, allowing fans a great glimpse of the aggressive new Northwestern rhymer they have bombarded with in the past few weeks. The former is a shining example of the work ethic of not only Simone but exactly how hungry a new artist has to be if they want to stand out in the crowded rapper gene pool.

It was shot at last week’s SXSW festival and immediately patched up and edited on the road back home to Seattle. It features Raz performing at all six of his showcases as well as the downtime he killed by doing pop-up shows in the middle of 6th St. All you need is ambition and a band…and a PA system…and a mobile generator to pull off such a feat.

The later is a unique dance in the shadows to which he’s already proven to be a master of.

Check out the Austin-drenched “Natural Resources” below and hit the flip to see to reel for “They’ll Speak.”
