Marvel Studios has a reputation for keeping a tight lid on its multitude of secrets, prompting Don Cheadle (James Rhodes, aka War Machine or Iron Patriot, in the Iron Man movies) and talk show host Arsenio Hall to have some fun during a recent appearance on Hall’s show.
The apparently high cost of crossing Marvel was revealed in a skit on the Arsenio show, with Cheadle literally targeted by the studio when he came close to revealing “one big secret” about the studio’s future plans, with Hall joking about not wanting to get the actor in trouble with his bosses. “I don’t want nobody to put out a hit on you or nothing,” he jokes. “I don’t want it, either,” Cheadle responds, and then … well, watch the video below and see for yourself.

In reality, Cheadle is expected to appear in next year’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. Assuming, of course, that he doesn’t make any more talk show slip-ups before he shoots his scenes.
