KNIGHTS LANDING-
Yolo County Sheriff’s deputies say a fisherman found what may be human bones Sunday along the Sacramento River in Knights Landing.
Search crews took a look in the water to see if there are any more, but found nothing. Sheriff’s spokesperson Captain Larry Cecchettni said the river’s low level may be why the bones appeared.
The bones were found behind the former site of the Roving Night trailer park on the river’s south bank.
The bones were sent off to a lab to see how old they are.
