MODESTO-
Highway Patrol reported early Wednesday afternoon that a child was hit by a bus and had become pinned underneath.
The child later died, according to the CHP.
Highway Patrol says the child was struck in front of Tuolumne Elementary School around noon. The bus was said to be a city bus, not a Modesto school bus.
