Poots looked dazzling in a Nina Ricci dress paired with Givency shoes. The film marks Paul's first major project since the conclusion of his Emmy-winning TV series Breaking Bad.
Need for Speed producer Mark Sourian and DreamWorks Studios President and CEO Jeff Small posed for a shot at the red carpet premiere on Thursday, March 6 at the TCL Chinese Theater. This is the first film adapted from the EA video-game franchise.
Fans went hysterical during Aaron Paul's Need for Speed premiere on the carpet. "I never imagined in a million years I'd be starring in an action movie," said Paul "It was such a blast."
Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi not only starred alongside Paul in Need for Speed, but also contributed the single "Hero" to the film's soundtrack.
On display during the red carpet premiere was Paul's "Hero Car," which his character sped across country with in the movie. One of seven Ford Mustangs, worth 2 million dollars in the film, was custom built for the movie.

Keaton plays the role of an "underground" supercar race competition host alongside Aaron Paul, Imogeen Poots, Dominic Cooper and Scott Mescudi in Need for Speed.
Breaking Bad's Betsy Brandt made an appearance on the carpet to show her support for her former co-star Aaron Paul. Although it is not confirmed Paul will reprise his role as Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad spinoff Better call Saul, Paul told The Hollywood Reporter, "I hope it happens. Fingers crossed."
The Walking Dead actress Alanna Masterson posed on the carpet for the premiere.
